Namibia

Namibia

Namibia – a land of contrasts. Where else could you see scorched deserts stretching down to meet the Atlantic Ocean? You could be trekking the Namib Desert or driving across the infamous Skeleton Coast. Wildlife can be found in abundance in the Etosha National Park whilst the awesome Fish River Canyon provides second to none trekking.

Namibia is also home to some of the earliest cave paintings in the world, including the famous “white lady”. Trekking regions include the Brandenburg Mountains and the world famous sand dunes of Sossusvlei.

For the truly adventurous you could try sandboarding on the Atlantic coast followed by souvenir shopping in the sleepy coastal town of Swakopmund. From penguins on the Atlantic coast through to nomadic bushmen in the interior, Namibia truly has something for everyone.
