"I’d just like to say thank you for such an incredible trip we’ve been on. It’s just sinking in now that I am back how amazing it was and how I will remember some of the experiences I had for the rest of my life. I know it took a lot of organising but it really paid off"

Your flight will be the biggest environmental impact of the expedition. For example, if you were to fly to Manila, you will be responsible for releasing approximately 3.9 tonnes of carbon dioxide, the main gas responsible for global warming. Adventure Lifesigns has teamed up with Rainforest Concern to try and help repair your flight's contribution to global warming. You now have the option to reduce your emissions by the same amount as the flight creates, making your flights 'climate neutral'.
Adventure Lifesigns also offsets all of the emissions from the flights that our staff take on company business. By offsetting the CO2 emissions from our air travel you can be sure our recce’s aren’t adding to global warming. We operate as close to a “paperless” office as possible and send the majority of our paperwork via email. This also helps to keep the costs of our programmes to a minimum.
The Rainforest Concern Forest Credits system gives instant calculations allowing you to see the cost and emissions in real time. More importantly the money raised goes directly to help Rainforest Concern projects. Rainforest Concern is a Registered Charity in the UK, established to protect threatened natural habitats and the biodiversity they contain, together with the indigenous people who still depend on them for survival. "Surbiton High School have used The Lifesigns Group for the past 13 years, for activity weeks in the UK and larger expeditions across the globe. In the past two years they have worked with us to organise successful expeditions to Peru and Morocco. They are currently assisting us with the planning of trips to Nepal in 2017 and The Azores in 2018. Alistair and Ian are very approachable and extremely knowledgeable, with real local insight. They give excellent presentations to the year groups on the expedition opportunities, and provide comprehensive and thorough risk assessments for all trips. They listen to the needs of the School and build a bespoke itinerary around this. They are prompt and sensitive in all their dealings with Parents. I cannot recommend them highly enough".
