A few of the amazing memories had...

"a unique and engaging opportunity for young people to challenge themselves"

"Thank you" ...too small words to express our immense gratitude and respect for you and your team for the ingenuous organisation of Charlton Chase, providing a unique and engaging opportunity for young people to challenge themselves, extend their boundaries, redefine possible, develop endurance, learn teamwork, and find out that they can achieve beyond their expectations…..among many other benefits.

We fully appreciate all the hard work involved in running this event and are very grateful".

"bespoke, fun and engaging program"

"A huge thank you to Lifesigns for arranging teambuilding activities for Shoreham Academy year 12 students. They put together a bespoke, fun and engaging program to support the learning outcomes for our students. This has certainly been a huge factor as to why our sixth form has integrated so well this year".

"He will always look back with pride and a big smile on the adventure he shared with you."

"Since returning from Cambodia we have heard about the magnificent experiences (our son) has enjoyed and marvelled at the impact it has had on him and his goals and motivations. It was a wonderful way for (him) to sign off his RGS career. Thank you for your organisation, commitment and contribution to the impact the trip has made on (our son). He will always look back with pride and a big smile on the adventure he shared with you."

"They are extremely knowledgeable with real local insight"

"We have used The Lifesigns Group for a number of years for activity weeks in the UK, and larger expeditions across the globe. We have always found them to be professional, competitive, and to have given the children the best experience possible. They are extremely knowledgeable with real local insight, and have good clear procedures. They are prompt and sensitive when dealing with parents. I cannot recommend them highly enough".

"This was a great boost for building self-confidence"

"This was a great boost for building self-confidence and independence that I cannot experience from home. Experiencing the culture first hand gives you a great insight into a whole undiscovered world".

"Team Leader, was clearly a superb balance of friendly approachability and sensible, expert dependability"

"We just wanted to send a message to say how much we appreciate the success of the RGS Cambodia trip. We weren't sure whether (our son) would want to talk much about it when he got back - 'coming down' after a holiday can be a difficult adjustment, but - although he managed a 17 hour sleep on Monday night - we have had hour after hour of chat about what sounds like an amazing expedition.

It's clear that the boys had a great deal of independence, and we've been surprised (and pleased) by how much was left to them to organise - I'm sure we will all be able to see, over the next months and years, how much they've benefitted from this. We wanted (our son) to be on this trip as soon as we heard about it; in fact, he missed the initial cut and was a late addition, so he did not get the full fundraising and planning experience, but it really was a once in a lifetime opportunity and we're so glad he went. Balancing the obvious responsibility with the need for independence must take a lot of planning on your part, and then excellent on-the-spot staff. Lots of stories we've heard show how well this was managed, as (our son) had to deal with a number of difficulties 'on his own', but it's also clear from a few comments that the staff were aware of the issues and keeping a discreet eye on them, and this didn't stop the trip being hugely enjoyable as well as educational. It also sounds as if relationships between the boys, and with the staff, were very well looked after.

(Our son's) Team Leader, was clearly a superb balance of friendly approachability and sensible, expert dependability - he has featured in a great many of the stories and we've come to realise just how well he managed both roles - a massive thank you goes to (the team leader) for all his well judged support. Congratulations on giving the boys such an amazing experience and getting them all home safely".

"An unforgettable and remarkable trip"

"An unforgettable and remarkable trip which I will keep with me for my life".

"We all had a tremendous experience while in Nepal."

"Our expedition was first rate from start to finish. We had comprehensive training for staff and pupils prior to our departure in June 2014. Our training covered everything from expedition camp craft to health and wellbeing. The training certainly paid off as we had no incidents while in Nepal. Our leader Mark was absolutely fantastic. He was a great example to all the students and was a friend to each and every one of us. We all had a tremendous experience while in Nepal. The Annapurna trek was stunning and challenging. Seeing wild elephant and rhino in Chitwan National Park was a joy and working at the Shree Mahendra school in Bhaktapur was great fun and very rewarding for everyone involved. The staff and students from Girvan Academy would recommend an Adventure Lifesigns expedition to any individual or group looking for a rewarding challenge".

"Adventure Lifesigns are a pleasure to do business with"

"Adventure Lifesigns work with us to deliver our Duke of Edinburgh's Award Programme. Their services have been delivered professionally and we have been very impressed with them - their attention to detail, organisation and focus on safety is very apparent. Importantly, the students and parents have been very impressed with them - so much so that we have received praise for Adventure Lifesigns Ltd from students and parents alike - who praised them for their organisation and genuine interest in the students doing well. Feedback indicates that the students are left feeling enthused, had fun and learned a lot. As one parent said " Thank you, thank you, thank you!! This is the D of E that I know and love!! And this is the D of E that the girls will hopefully love and be inspired by!!" Adventure Lifesigns are a pleasure to do business with and compare extremely favourably with previous providers we have used- highly recommended".

"the service provided once again has been first class."

"As the school teacher of the Holt School I have recently just returned from a very successful expedition to Cambodia which was organised by Adventure Lifesigns! I have to say that even though this was the 3rd expedition with Lifesigns the service provided once again has been first class. The communication between the school and the company is one of the reasons we go back to them time after time, it is the personal service provided and at any time I call the office the staff know who I am and what my team are doing. Safety is always a priority and the training courses provided prepare the team for a both a physical and cultural experience. Each year I get the chance to visit somewhere new and exciting with Lifesigns and it is the honest advice about the destination which is tailor made to suit the requirements of our girls. Each year I am able to watch our girls grow in confidence and independence as the expedition progresses, I cannot wait to depart again on the next one!"

"Safety was a priority but this never got in the way of an adventureful and cultural experience."

"I am a teacher who has recently returned from a trip to Ethiopia organised by Adventure Lifesigns. Having been on a number of expeditions to different parts of the world with other expedition companies, I can honestly say that the service provided by Adventure Lifesigns has been outstanding. The communication between the school and the company has been very good. The leader provided couldn't have been better, he was knowledgeable, experienced and got on well on with all the members of the group. Safety was a priority but this never got in the way of an adventureful and cultural experience. It was wonderful to watch our party grow in confidence and independence as the expedition progressed and I believe that Adventure Lifesigns provided a life changing experience not only for the participating students but the accompanying teachers too."

"The team know their industry inside out"

"Having now been on several expeditions with Adventure Lifesigns, I am absolutely convinced of their leading status in this field. The team know their industry inside out, and lead on many initiatives and programmes within it. From day one of booking the trip Adventure Lifesigns, and in particular Kerri and her team, were so thorough in their organisation, and the support I received as a teacher was brilliant – they were in complete control of all the administration which is amazing for me because I don’t always have time to run around chasing students for late payments etc! Whilst we were out ‘in country’, we had such a brilliant time. This was mainly due to Kerri, our expedition leader, who was just fantastic throughout. Her knowledge and understanding of the local community and culture was outstanding, which meant that I had full confidence in our safety at all times. She was such an effective leader as she ensured the students were engaged and enthused throughout. Always full of energy and encouragement, Kerri helped all the students to get the very best from their travels, and the unfailing support from the rest of the company back in England led to this being the best school trip I have ever personally been on. Even now, when we are home a month later, the girls are still absolutely buzzing about the trip and they are already wanting to know where the next trip will take them!
I cannot recommend this company highly enough, and look forward to many more trips with them in the years to come. Thank you Adventure Lifesigns!"

"I will remember some of the experiences I had for the rest of my life."

"I’d just like to say thank you for such an incredible trip we’ve been on. It’s just sinking in now that I am back how amazing it was and how I will remember some of the experiences I had for the rest of my life. I loved Kathmandu and the trek up but my highlight had to be reaching base camp which was incredible. I know it took a lot of organising but it really paid off."

"I could not have carried out this experiment without the help of the two trek leaders"

"I was part of an Everest trip organized by The Lifesigns Group. My role in the expedition was to organise and conduct simple scientific measurements on over 40 adolescent trekkers to assess how well they acclimatised to the high altitude environment. This required a high level of organisation in order to schedule and carry out daily scientific measurements. I could not have carried out this experiment without the help of the two trek leaders from The Lifesigns Group, Ian and Kerri. They supported the research in many ways including; organising in-country logistics, ensuring time was allocated to collect measurements, and keeping trekkers motivated to participate. Aside from the help they gave me from a research perspective they were great to walk with through the Solukhumbu and if opportunity arises I would like to again in the future."
