TRAVEL SAFETY TRAINING COURSES
Every year thousands of explorers set off overseas on their own independent travelling adventure. Some want to see for themselves the great monuments left by the pre-Columbian civilisations, others join the Masai in their traditional dancing in the Great Rift Valley or trek the Bario Loop in South East Asia. Wherever they go they will have a once in a lifetime experience never to be forgotten.
However, it is a sad fact of life that the majority of students are ill prepared for the rigours of independent travel. As a result many find themselves the victim of crime; others end up inadvertently breaking local laws whilst others have to be repatriated with medical problems at considerable expense to their families.
This is where the Lifesigns Group can help. We have many years of experience in overseas travel and advise both groups and individuals on personal safety issues.
We can organise cost effective one-day training seminars for your students at your school. These are normally held at weekends and give the individual the knowledge and confidence to successfully plan and conduct their own gap year safely and effectively. NATIONAL NAVIGATION AWARD SCHEME
NNAS is intended for people of all ages and abilities both inside and outside formal education.
The scheme is aimed at the walker intending to explore the countryside, those planning more adventurous expeditions into wild country on foot or bicycle, as well as the competitive fell runner.
The arrangement of the NNAS Scheme in 3 levels of Bronze, Silver and Gold provides a pathway to encourage people to develop their skills in stages. Each of the three levels can be taught as a self-contained unit and each represents a level of proficiency which is certificated to a national standard.

LIFESIGNS DEVELOPMENT CENTRE
Set in rural Hampshire, the Lifesigns Development Centre is a secure 200-acre training centre dedicated to outdoor pursuits and team building activities. Facilities within the main building include:
Residential male and female dorm style accommodation block (sleeps 100)

- Lecture Theatre
- Kitchen & dining facilities
- Washing & drying rooms
